Morning walks with my dog, Finley, are special times of prayer, praise, and reflection for me. The morning I took the reference photo for this painting, there was a light misty fog hovering over the ground, and as I walked by this familiar tree, the sunlight was beaming through the fog and branches, casting a warm, radiant glow. I was reminded of the new mercies He gives us every morning. (Lamentations 3:23-24) Isn’t He such a good, good God?
