Featured Artist in Wayne Magazine

It was such an honor to be the featured artist in the fall edition of Wayne Magazine, which is a locally published magazine in my county. It was a great opportunity for me to consider what truly motivates me as an artist, and it also gave me the chance to highlight people who have influenced and supported me through my creative journey after retiring from teaching. After almost 30 years of teaching in a small town, that is what I am most known for, but I was grateful to be able to share my passion for art with others in my community as well. Painting was never part of my plan but the exploration of new interests was, and what a blessing it has been to me. After retirement, I never intended to stop growing and learning. I view this part of my life as a new beginning. A beautiful new beginning!
